Problem
In the 2009–2010 period, most health information online was still presented in a formal, institution-oriented style. GueTau.com took a different approach: delivering information on reproductive health, HIV, healthy lifestyles, and youth issues in a format that felt friendlier and easier for a younger generation to access.
The portal also served as a publishing outlet for articles, infographics, health campaigns, and educational material aimed at young communities — themes aligned with the youth-health and public-education focus of that period.
Solution
The website was designed as a content portal with fairly active publishing needs. Elements built included:
- A magazine-style homepage with featured articles
- A category system for health, lifestyle, and campaign topics
- An infographics and visual-education page
- A newsletter subscription form
- Search and navigation structure to help readers find content
The look used a red-and-white color combination as the portal's visual identity, with a layout that highlighted lead articles and health-campaign material.
